XGR 2.0 chain code is released for public review

XGR 2.0 code opened for review

On 15 May 2026, XGR.Network announced that the new XGRChain code for XGR 2.0 was available in the public repository for review.

The release exposed the architecture behind the next network generation, including:

  • PoS / IBFT consensus
  • permissionless validator joining
  • delegated staking
  • stake-weighted voting power
  • macro- and micro-epoch logic

The code publication preceded the subsequent XGR 2.0 mainnet activation and gave external developers a way to inspect the new consensus and staking design before the live rollout.
